The homogenizer is the central organ of the machine. Its high-speed rotor-stator system disperses and homogenizes liquid and medium-viscosity products. Particles of solid and liquid substances are finely distributed and dispersed between the stationary stator and the rotating rotor. The pumping action of the homogenizer ensures the transportation of the product through the circulation pipe back to the tank. In a working vessel with a jacket for heating or cooling (or without it) a low-speed scraper mixer with movable scrapers rotates. The scraper mixer supports mixing and circulation of the product. Its movable scraper plates continuously scrape the product from the inner surfaces of the container, preventing the product from settling and improving the heat transfer process. The fixed spoiler - flow quencher - enhances the affect of mixing. From the conical outlet of the container, the product is again sent to the homogenizer. During the whole process, the vacuum pump continuously vacuumizes the tank and degasses the product. After ventilation of the tank, the final product is discharged through a multi-way valve in the circulation pipe. The washing liquid is supplied to the working tank through the C1P nozzle.
FrymaKoruma produces MaxxD vacuum production units of several sizes with a working volume of 3 to 1,500 liters. Recirculation line. A vacuum system that is economical to operate and environmentally friendly. A liquid ring vacuum pump provides liquid and dry components to the homogenizer through feed hoppers. The vacuum level is fully controlled throughout the entire production phase. For sanitary purposes, washing of the vacuum system and vacuum pump is provided. Accessible interface. The easy-to-use MaxxD control system can integrate process parameters stored in memory. The main unit of the MaxxD installation is the Fryma Kogita linear homogenizer. The linear homogenizer is characterized by excellent performance and full compliance with sanitary standards. The homogenizer is based on the principle of a multi-chamber rotor-stator system, which is the optimal solution for the production of emulsions and suspensions. By means of a pump, the product is fed into the first chamber — the pre-mixing zone of the product. After this, the product enters the dispersion zone, and then into the rotor – stator gear system, where the product is ground. Excellent product quality is achieved due to the large value of the transverse force arising in the gap between the rotor and the stator, and high turbulence at the exit of the rotor. In the production of emulsions, the size of the fat ball reaches 1 micron. When dispersing the suspension, the powders and solids are moistened, deagglomerated and homogenized to obtain the desired product quality. The homogenizer design provides for its use in the production line. The design of the technological plant Fryma Koruma MaxxD which is a vacuum mixing system. At the beginning of the process, the vacuum pump starts and vacuumizes the process tank. Liquid and dry substances are sucked through the product inlets into the mixing zone of the homogenizer under low pressure. Such a vacuum supply ensures the absorption of the entire volume of the product for a single dosage in a few minutes. The product supply fittings are located on the mixing chamber of the homogenizer, which provides immediate mixing of the liquid ingredients, as well as immediate hydration and dispersion of the powders.
