Granulate is produced by granulating wet material on special granulator machines. Another apparatus design for combining mixing and pelletizing operations is the centrifugal mixer-granulator. Pelletizing liquid enters through the nozzle and spreads on the surface of the rotor. Technical specifications

Screws are mounted on two parallel shafts in the chamber. The screws move and rub the material through a perforated plate forming the bottom of the working chamber. The disadvantage is the low output. In the OYSTAR Huttlin, pellets are formed by centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the blades. Pelletizing liquid is fed through special nozzles located in two places of the machine.

The granulate is removed from the machine through a special valve. The machine is equipped with a filter to catch small particles of material. Mixer-granulators. Usually the operations of mixing and uniform moistening of the powdered mixture with different granulating solutions are combined and carried out in one mixer. Mixing is ensured by vigorous forced circular mixing of particles and pushing them against each other. The mixing process to obtain a homogeneous mixture lasts 3-5 min. Then granulating liquid is fed into the mixer to the premixed powder and the mixture is mixed for another 3-10 min. After the granulation process is completed, the discharge valve is opened and the finished product is discharged by slowly rotating the scraper.
