Tips for our customers
A centrifugal granulator that wipes moistened powder through the holes in a perforated stainless steel cylinder. Granulator: does not mix powder; does not moisturize the powder; does not mix moistened powder; does not dry granules; does not divide granules into good and non-standard; Does not produce pellets of the same size form. The function of the granulator is to wipe the moistened powder through the holes. Check if the granulator is right for you. Prepare 1 kg of powder, moisten (after studying the theory and materials for moisturizing) to such an extent that the powder leaves an imprint in the hand when it is compressed. Strong moisture will not form granules, weak too. With strong moisture, a longer drying time of the granules will be required. After mixing the powder evenly and moisturizing it, you get a mass ready for granulation. It is necessary to make a frame of 400 x 400 mm from wooden boards and nail a metal mesh onto it. The thickness of the wire is at least 0.5 mm, the mesh size is 2 mm by 2 mm. Spread the moistened mass on the mesh, with a plastic or steel spatula, wiping from side to side, wiping the powder through the mesh. This way you get granule samples. The quality of the granules depends on the combination of moisturizing substances and the amount of this liquid in the powder mass. If with such an experiment you get high-quality granules - you can safely buy a granulator.
