The preparation of the suppository mass is carried out in the reactor, where, using compressed air, the finished base is fed and medicinal substances are added. As an example, the LT-series reactor-mixer manufactured by the Italian company ZUMA s.r.l. Mixers of this series are intended for the preparation of suppository mass, creams, ointments, etc. and are available in four sizes with a working tank volume of 30, 60, 140 and 250 liters. The working tank of the reactor is a tank of polished stainless steel with a water jacket for heating and melting the mixture. For the convenience of draining the resulting product and washing the tank rotates 90 °. The stirrer blades of the reactor are equipped with scraper knives. All working parts of the device are made of stainless steel. The mixing reactor is equipped with safety guards and is manufactured in accordance with international standards.
If the melting temperature of the base is greater or less than the set value, then paraffin or hydrogel is introduced into the base with thorough mixing. The base is filtered through a Druk filter using a brass mesh or belting, analyzed by melting point, solidification and time of complete deformation and transferred to the hardware compartment.
Druk filters are called capacitive filters that operate under pressure. Druk filters are vertical vessels (usually with a jacket) with an elliptical bottom.
Capacitive filter housing is open or closed. A split suspension is fed into the upper part of the housing. The filtrate is discharged from the bottom. When filtering, compressed gas is supplied to the housing filled with the suspension.

The filter baffle is located on the false bottom. Druk filters are known whose housing can be rotated 90-180 ° in the pins fixed on its cylindrical part. Druk filters separate medium- and well-filtered suspensions in medium- and low-tonnage industries.
