The TS-SG10 machine produces two gelatin tapes that are brought together on format drums. The dispenser drops and dispenses simultaneously several doses of the drug directly to the capsule formation site. In the fifth stage, the finished capsules are fed into a drum dryer docked with a TS-SG10 machine. In the dryer, the processing of the capsules, including the removal of oil from the surface of the capsule and drying, proceeds in stages. The drum performs a given number of revolutions in a clockwise direction. After that, the drum stops and makes several revolutions in the opposite direction. Capsules fall into the next drum. At the same time, new capsules are fed into the first drum. The procedure is repeated in each subsequent drum. Finished capsules are unloaded from the last drum into the tray. At the last, sixth stage of production of soft gelatin capsules, trays with capsules are installed in racks and transported to a special room equipped with a clean air supply system and climate control system: a constant temperature of 20-22 ° C and a relative humidity of 20 to 22% are maintained in the room.

South Korean company Ki’s Corporation produces a set of technological equipment for the manufacture and filling of soft gelatin capsules. The manufacturing process for gelatin capsules can be divided into six main stages. The first stage of production is the preparation of a drug at a temperature of 60-70 ° C in a vacuum mixer or tank. The tank has a volume of 200 l and is equipped with an integrated temperature control sensor. The gelatin supplied in the form of granules melts at a temperature of 90-100 ° C in a 400 l tank equipped with a mixer with a fixed rotation speed of 40 rpm. An auxiliary tank for gelatin is used to transport the finished gelatin mass. It has a volume of 2000 l and is equipped with an integrated temperature control sensor. In the tank, the product temperature is maintained in the range from 70 to 90 ° C.
The third stage of production is the preparation for operation of the machine for the manufacture and filling of soft gelatin capsules model TS-SG10. Ready gelatin and a drug are loaded into the machine. After that, the machine is tuned and capsules are released. In the fourth stage, the actual production of soft gelatin capsules is carried out.
