In the process of pepper patch production, several complex ingredients are prepared: rubber glue, which is a solution of rubber in gasoline with rosin and antioxidant; pepper paste, which is obtained as follows: a thick extract of chilli pepper is mixed with a part of melted and cooled to a temperature of 40-50 ° C lanolin, then to the resulting mixture add a thick extract of belladonna and arnica tincture, after which the mixture is thoroughly mixed; flour base, which is obtained by mixing wheat flour with heated lanolin, liquid paraffin and 1/6 of a solution of rosin in gasoline.

Additional information

Pepper patch is produced in a reactor. The process proceeds in the following sequence: pepper paste is added to rubber glue and stirred for 30 min, then rosin solution is gradually added and stirred for another 1 hr. In the plastering machine, the finished pepper paste is applied to the cloth tape and the plaster is dried.
