There are two functions in this machine model. The first is the molding of round boilies from plastic doughy materials. The second is the use of a heated boiler to dry the balls or to apply a coating to dragees or tablets. The machine is made of stainless steel. It comes with a heating electric plate, which is installed under the rotating boiler. The principle of operation of the ball former is as follows: a dough is prepared from powdered material and water. For mixing and obtaining the dough, you can use a kitchen or industrial dough stirrer. The properties of the dough should be selected through experimentation, adjusting its density and stickiness. When the dough has the desired density, you can start making balls. Turn the machine on, separate a small piece of dough with your hands. Place it in the first section of the rotating rollers. This will lead to the formation of a plate of a certain thickness. The operator then places this plate by hand on the section for forming long cylindrical plates. After that he separates the plates from each other, if necessary, and transfers them by hand to the section for forming balls. The finished balls are poured into the tray provided. To speed up the drying process, the balls can be placed in a rotating boiler and an electric heater can be switched on.
