Powders obtained by spray drying and combined spray and freeze drying have fundamental differences in particle shape. The comparison of spray and combined spray and freeze drying methods was carried out in terms of such indicators as: particle size and shape; moisture content, physical and chemical properties; the influence of additives and coatings on the friability of powders.
