The equipment for forming baubles, balls and dragees uses interchangeable dies for forming different diameters, and as an additional option an attachment device for forming balls of the desired diameter. Each of these devices can be purchased additionally for the desired diameter of baits, dragees and balls. Beforehand you must prepare your powder or material by giving it a plastic shape. This can be moistening or heating. The machine only forms balls from a plastic dough-like mass. Dry powders cannot be turned into balls on the machine. The operator prepares the powder, introduces dry plasticizer and water. The plasticizer can be alginate, gelatin, various types of food and technical glue. By stirring manually or mechanically (in a dough mixer) a plastic mass is formed, which is tested by hand to check its elasticity and ability to form balls. The prepared plastic mass is fed into the machine prepared for use. A screw is mounted inside the machine, which presses out a sausage through a hole (it also forms the diameter of the future balls). The operator places the sausages on the rollers, which cut the sausages into pieces and form balls. The finished balls are poured into a tray.
