Technical specifications
The optimum gas velocity depends significantly on the particle size and density. Heat is supplied with the process air. The temperature of the process air. If the drying process is carried out in continuous mode, the material is loaded and unloaded continuously and uniformly. In continuously operating dryers the process can be carried out with direct flow, countercurrent, cross-current of the dried material and drying agent. The directions of movement of the dried material and the drying agent are selected depending on the properties of the material and the required drying conditions. Due to continuous and complete mixing, the same product temperature and uniform drying of the initial product are achieved, which cannot be ensured in contact drying plants and radiation drying plants, in which local overheating is possible.
