Dry granulation — Technological term used in pharmaceutical granule production. This method can be compared to the grinding of large pieces of raw material into granules of uniform fraction. The principle of rubbing the raw material through a metallized stainless steel mesh is used.

Additional information

The powder is poured through a hopper into the press pelletizer, the rollers rotated by powerful gearboxes press the powder, press it into plates, which the machine automatically peels and crushes into pellets. The high force generated by the press pelletizer ensures that the pellets are produced without moistening by pressing the powder alone. An automatic hydraulic system is used to create the pressing force, which pumps up the required force. The machine has a manual dashboard control, in another modification the maintenance of the pressure is manual, through the use of a manual hydraulic pump, and an electronic control panel with a menu in English. Granulator: does not mix the powder; does not moisten the powder; does not mix the moistened powder; does not dry the granules; does not separate the granules into good and substandard; does not produce granules of the same shape size.
