Answer from MINIPRESS: We would like to warn you that the production of tablets with a diameter of 2-3 millimeters is not a feasible task, because it is difficult to organize the filling of powder into the hole of the die of such small dimensions. There are also problems with the manufacture of a strong press tool, which with a diameter of 2-3 millimeters can withstand a pressing force of 10 atmospheres. Presses are designated by the pressing force in tons per cm square or kilonewtons.
The minimum diameter of the tablets is 5 mm. In this case, the powder can be poured and the press molds will be strong in pressing. As for the height adjustment of the finished tablet, it is adjustable from the minimum to the maximum possible height. In the Super Press model, it is possible to pour powder into the die to a depth of 18mm. In the Reinforced Super Press model up to 40 mm. To obtain a tablet height of up to 10 mm is not a problem.

About the YL-1 tablet and capsule counter. It can count any tablets of any size. The main requirement for them is mechanical strength.

In tabletting there is a golden rule – the thickness of the tablet should be no more than 30% of the diameter. For example, if the diameter is 10 mm, the thickness is 3-4 mm. At these ratios, the strength characteristics of the tablet are maximized. The further from these proportions (in any direction), the less strong tablet is obtained.
