Identify your needs. What shape and size tablets do you want to produce? How many finished tablets do you want to produce per 1 hour of operation?

The properties of your raw powder are also important. If you have raw material and you are preparing to grind it into powder, you can (without understanding the further processes) simply spoil it. For normal operation of the tablet press it is desirable to have powder not in the form of powder or flour, but in the form of fine 0.5-1 mm particles. The requirements for the powder are minimum airiness and maximum flowability-sapidity.

If it is difficult for you to adjust the particle size during grinding, we must realize that the powder requires forced feeding into the die.

There are presses that have a system to force powder into the die mechanically.

And there are machines that work with self-dumping, where the powder is discharged randomly.

Answer from MINIPRESS: For blistering equipment we need to know: blister dimensions in mm, number of cells in the blister and capacity (how many pieces per hour).
