In contrast to soft sutureless capsules, which are strictly spherical in shape, suture capsules can vary in shape and come in spherical, oblong, oval, tubatin and rectal suppository forms.
Soft suture capsules can be manufactured in other shapes as well if needed. Capsugel is addressing the challenges of encapsulating liquid dosage forms as more new poorly soluble compounds become available.
Licaps capsules are sealed using the patented Liquid Encapsulation by Microspray Sealing (LEMS) technology.

These capsules guarantee hermetically sealed packaging of the liquid contents.
L-Vcaps are capsules of vegetable origin and are designed to be filled with liquid product.
Capsugel’s new soft capsule technology line includes a wide variety of capsules of all shapes, colors and sizes, which are suitable for internal, topical, ocular and vaginal use.
