The capsule hopper contains empty capsules. The capsules move down into the two magazines, are aligned by the sorting unit and dropped into the corresponding cells. In the first stage of this operation, the first (inner) row of capsules is loaded, and in the second stage, the second (outer) row of capsules is loaded. After the capsule magazine is a narrow calibration port. Only geometrically correct capsules can pass through this opening. In case of irregularly shaped capsules that cannot pass through the calibration hole, the cells are blocked, recognized by the scanner and excluded from further filling.
