The pistons press the powder with high dosing accuracy. The compacted powder is transferred to the capsule body during the powder transfer stage. The powder level can be varied arbitrarily via a level sensor so that the rotation speed of the screw feeder is matched to the powder consumption. The disk method allows the dosage to be adjusted if the powder has poor bulkiness and a tendency to form lumps. The filler mass can be adjusted by changing the pressure and raising or lowering the filler level. This allows capsules to be filled with minimum doses of drugs. This machine has a high capacity (up to 150 thousand capsules per hour), contains a device that provides partial filling of capsules (50% or less), as well as a device that prevents deformation of capsules during the filling process. The machine is equipped with a device that automatically determines the weight of the filled capsule.

The most common method of filling capsules is the disk method of dosing, which consists of loading the powder onto a disk containing six groups of holes.
