The operation of this equipment consists of placing aluminum pallets (included in the delivery set) into the sublimation drying chamber, on which the product (solid or liquid) is distributed weighing 1 kg on 1 pallet. The operator starts an automatic drying program, it is possible to choose to dry liquid or solid products. Individual programming of the drying temperature and time is possible. The first stage is cooling the product, while the temperature in the chamber is reduced to -40 degrees C for 4 hours. The second stage is the vacuum pump control program, which works together with the cooling program. At this time, moisture is released from the product and deposited on the walls of the chamber. The average drying time is 20-24 hours. To reduce the drying time, we recommend pre-freezing your product in a freezer at a temperature of -20 degrees C for at least 24 hours. At the final stage, after the water has been completely released from the product, the tray heating is turned on. This ensures drying with minimal heating of the product. The heating temperature is no more than 30 degrees C. After the drying cycle is complete, the vacuum pump must be turned off and the vacuum must be released from the drying chamber. The trays with the dry product are removed from the chamber. To remove frozen moisture from the chamber walls, the heating program must be activated and the drain valve must be opened, with an empty container underneath to collect the water. Since the equipment dehydrates the material during the dehydration process (removing water), the restoration also occurs with distilled water. The removed water is frozen in the chamber, then drained after defrosting, and it is possible to control how many ml have come out of the dried product, in order to restore it with exactly the same amount of water later. This is an important point. According to the manufacturer, not all materials can be turned into powder; some biological materials turn into a jelly-like substance when dehydrated, which is also restored with distilled water.
