Additional information

This shredder is suitable for shredding any substance. The material is fed through a chute, which is fixed at a slight inclination in relation to the opening into which the particles of the raw material to be shredded fall. In order to regulate the flow of raw material in the chute there is a flap/slide which can be lowered or raised to adjust the width of the slot and the amount of powder fed into the grinding zone. This shredder is of the continuous type, on one side the material is fed and on the other side the shredded fraction, through a sleeve, falls into the container provided. There is also a woven sleeve on top, into which excess air is discharged. Woven sleeves for air discharge and transportation of the shredded fraction are made of filter material and they need to be washed, over time it becomes clogged and the air flow does not pass through the walls of the fabric, but is blown into the shredded material. The design of the shredder works as follows: the material continuously added to the tray by the operator will fall through the slide into the shredding zone. At the top there is an opening through which air is drawn. This air flow blows the shredded particles through the woven sleeve into the container provided. Thus, the PROFI shredder works continuously, unlike other shredders with a certain volume of knives, which require batch loading, after which it is necessary to disassemble and clean the machine. The PROFI shredder has locking horns on both sides, which must be released in order to gain access to the shredding area. The shredder is equipped with a sensor that opens the electric circuit if the lid is opened. In this way the hammers stop their work and the operator will not be injured. The shredding zone consists of hammers attached to the motor shaft, which rotate around their axis. The surface of the hammers is brazed with carbide plates, which increases their service life and allows shredding even such strong materials as brick chips. The inner surface of the shredding zone is ribbed in a specific way, which additionally creates a shredding effect. The surface also includes screens through which the shredded particles exit into the sleeve. The shredding chamber has cavities into which the cooling liquid is supplied, pumping of the liquid is carried out by a water pump. The present model of shredder uses metal perforated meshes with a certain mesh size. When the material enters the shredding zone through the intake chute, the hammers, rotating at a fast speed, begin to shred it against the ribbed walls of the inner surface and with the airflow that feeds from above, the shredded particles tend to escape through the openings of the perforated mesh. As long as the particle size is larger than the mesh diameter of the mesh, it is in the pulverization zone. A large selection of perforated meshes with mesh sizes down to microns is included. Customers can make their own similar plates from your existing perforated steels and get the desired size of the shredded fraction. This design has no competition today, allowing control of the fraction, as in some cases grinding to dust does not have the necessary effect for the further process chain. The kit also includes several fuses to protect against voltage fluctuations and a brush for cleaning the internal and external surfaces of the shredder.
